albino "Applegate" strain.

| Here's the first baby to pip from its egg.

| My female laid her first clutch of eggs during July
of 2003. Of course, she disregarded her readily-available nest box and laid the
six eggs right on the newspaper. She laid another clutch of four eggs about six
weeks later. I have been handling her regularly and found that she is becoming
much more calm than she used to be.

| Here's my female November 2002. She's showing off
that incredible tail of hers. She and the male were both pretty excitable when
they were young. She has calmed down a bit since then. I'm hoping for actual
"calm" in another year or two. :)

| Here's my female again in November 2002. You can see
that her head has a lot more orange color to it than the male pictured below.

| Here's my male November 2002. I think that these
kids are big enough to breed this winter so I am going to put them in my
basement for a cool-down for a couple of months. They don't seem to ever intend
to quit eating.

| Here's the female in 2000 when my friend first got
her. She was so tiny. If I remember right she came in a little 16 oz deli cup.
